nothing getting done until after the election. the big question mark is whether lawmakers who have lost their job will be willing to come back here and wheel and deal, compromise or a short-term basis, kick that can down the road a little more, whether they will do a long-term big fix deal for everyone or whether they'll just say, no, i'm taking my ball and going home. we're talking about the bush era tax cuts going away, the social security tax payroll cuts, which are making your payroll checks a little fatter every week or every two weeks. but this isn't something that just affects poor people. they're getting hit, they're losing their credit. it also affects wealthy people. they're really getting slammed. 20% increase on the dividends. capital gains are going up. it's just an across-the-board everyone gets hurt kind of nightmare. congress says it wants to fix it, but how. that, jon, is the big question mark. >> brian mooar, we will keep a close eye on that one. thank you very much. >>> it all goes hand in hand as we look at dec
